Web apps will be able to capture multiple surfaces at once. This feature introduces a new API "getDisplayMediaSet()" that allows developers to request several surfaces at once (instead of only one with "getDisplayMedia()"). Further, it will enable auto-accept of capture requests (for managed sessions only). The feature will be hidden behind policies / flags until standardization progresses and will be used to collect feedback for standardization.

Motivation

Customers have asked to capture multiple surfaces (screens in particular), e.g. [1, 2]. [1] https://github.com/WICG/proposals/issues/51 [2] https://github.com/w3c/mediacapture-screen-share/issues/204
